Favorite Shampoo & Conditioner : R+Co Analog & Palm Springs

Best Baes.......
I haven't been this satisfied with a shampoo and conditioner in a while. My hair type is very coarse, straight and my scalp is very dry. I do not produce a lot of oil so I typically go 10 to 14 days without a wash. To some that is disgusting but for me it is necessary to keep my scalp and hair healthy. The reason that I have been doing that is because since my scalp is so dry and sensitive, whenever I would wash my hair, my scalp would be very sore. I have always used professional hair care so that wasn't to problem either. To my amazement my scalp doesn't feel tender at all after using this.

Analog is the cleansing foam and conditioner, so it is a 2-in-1. It is great for people who was just a quick wash, great for me, and also if you go to the gym a lot, you only need to carry one around with you. At first the consistency of it freaked my out because it literally feels like you are putting a paste all over you hair. After I got used to it, I will never go back to any other shampoo. Okay, maybe not never but for a while I am content.

Palm Springs is an amazing treatment for your hair. I have left this in my hair over night, and you can also use this as a regular conditioner. It comes out as a foam which again is very weird but my hair has never felt more silky smooth that when I have used this.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

I am someone that typically uses a makeup wipe to remove everything and then go in with some type of creamy cleanser. I do this because I am a contact wearer and whenever I use a facial cleanser on my eyes it would make my contacts go all blurry. I was pleasantly surprised when that didn't happen as I was removing my eye makeup.

These magical fluids in a bottle have cut down the cleansing time on my makeup removal because I am no longer having to do a 2-step routine. The other thing that amazes me about these cleansers is that, they really so remove anything waterproof. If you use the Kat Von D tattoo liners, you know how stubborn they can be to take off. Both of them take is off without any harsh rubbing. I have very dry skin so I typically prefer a milky cleanser so, I haven't had any excess drying of my skin. My skin feels very soft, and squeaky clean!

As for the differences between the two, the one thing that I did notice is the blue bottle has a lot more oils in it than the pink one. With that being said I do prefer the pink bottle because I am not a fan of oils on my skin.

What it claims to do:

All-in-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser Removes makeup + cleanses + refreshes. No rinse, no harsh rubbing. For face, lips, eyes. (PINK BOTTLE)

This all-in-1 cleanser is surprisingly powerful yet gentle to skin. It effectively removes makeup, cleanses skin and refreshes. A multi-purpose cleanser that contains Micellar technology. Like a magnet, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without harsh rubbing, leaving skin perfectly clean, hydrated and refreshed without over-drying.
Results:
Suprisingly Powerful yet Gentle to Skin with Micellar Technology. Like a magnet, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without harsh rubbing, leaving skin perfectly clean and refreshed without over-drying.

All-in-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser Removes even waterproof makeup + cleanses + refreshes. No rinse, no harsh rubbing. For face, lips, eyes. (BLUE BOTTLE)

This all-in-1 bi-phase cleanser is surprisingly powerful yet gentle to skin. It effectively removes even waterproof makeup, cleanses skin and refreshes. A multi-purpose cleanser that contains Micellar technology. Like a magnet, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without harsh rubbing, leaving skin perfectly clean and refreshed without over-drying.

KAT VON D LOCK-IT SETTING POWDER

I do NOT like powder. To be blunt haha. Having extremely dry skin, just the thought of powder going anywhere near my face is what nightmares are made of. I do not understand how some of these beauty youtubers who claim to have dry skin, just pack on that powder!!! ....Shade.

Anyways, I do like to set my concealer under my eyes with a little bit of translucent powder. When I mean a little, I mean like barely dipping my brush into the powder. Majority of the time when I would use translucent powders, they would make my under eye look grey ore even darker. I do not have terrible under eye bags or a lot of discoloration, but it would just happen with every single one. Except this one.

I noticed when I first tested this in the store that you can see the tiniest bit of iridescent color. BTW, the lady working at Sephora said that the girls hated this for baking. I do not bake, food or my face so no problem there for me. I have never seen my under eye so bright in my whole makeup life. When I first wore it, I didn't notice how bright it made my under eye until I got to work and it was honestly almost too much. What is also crazy is that I actually bring this down a little farther than my under eye and I love it. It still leaves my skin very luminous and not matte and dry!

What it claims to do:
Experience a next level setting powder. Kat Von D’s innovative formula uses delicate mica powders rather than the heavy, chalky binding ingredients found in other powders—reducing the weight by 30 percent. This prevents the dry, chalky finish most powders leave behind, and instead delivers a perfectly smooth, seamless look, with the same number of uses.

I 100% agree with what Kat Von D claims it to do. When it is on the skin, it doesn't look heavy, dry, or accentuates any lines. I get an airbrushed affect when I use it too. When I started wearing it, I got so many clients asking if I use an airbrush machine for my base.

Just buy it, you wont regret it!

NARS ALL DAY LUMINOUS WEIGHTLESS FOUNDATION

Pictured: Cadiz

Trying out new foundations is definitely not my favorite thing to do. Once I find one that I like, I will stick with it forever. Why fix something that isn't broke right? Well, since I am blogging now I feel that I need to get outside of my CC cream love affair and try some new foundations. One that sparked my interest was the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. Sounds very promising right? The first thing that I would see come up when I was looking for reviews on this foundation was people comparing it to the Sheer Glow Foundation. I personally haven't tried it out yet, but it is definitely on the list!

How do I feel about this foundation? I LOVE IT!!! I cannot believe that I have found a liquid foundation that I actually really like. I have extremely dry skin so what tended to happen when I would use any kind of liquid foundation was that it would accentuate ANY flakiness or dryness that I had on my skin. This one did not. I do prefer all of my foundations to be applied with a beauty blender.

It actually is weightless! I cannot feel it on my skin at all! This foundation last all through the work day (with mild perspiration). When I first apply it, it does look natural. Not luminous. Not matte. Just very natural looking. As the day goes on it does get more and more luminous.

The only thing that I do not like about this foundation is that all of the colors do look quit warm. I am more on the neutral side of skin tones, but I do have mild rosacea on my face. So, maybe that is why it could look warm on me? But, the color didn't oxidize one my skin which is a major plus.

Here's a little info about the foundation. An oil-free foundation that delivers full, natural-looking coverage with one drop, for lightweight, 16-hour wear.

The one drop claim is true! I literally use only one little drop for my entire face! the drop isn't even the size of a dime!

I highly recommend this foundation if you are looking for something new to try out!

Eylure Luxe Faux Mink Lashes

Hey ya'll! So, I was browsing around Utla today when I thought to myself...

"I need to buy a 10th pair of my beloved Eylure 126!"

As usual I wasn't able to find them because they seem to either be always out of stock or they just don't supply them in general (hence why I buy 10 at a time)

After the disappointment set in, I look up to see these beauties. For one, I LOVE black and gold together. Something about those two colors just feels so luxury to me. Personally I think Eylure should change all of their packaging to this one.

Anyways, off topic, Eylure is hands down my favorite false eyelash brand. I am a big prefer a thicker band because of how you can manipulate it any which way you want to move it. I am a contact wearer and I don't find these to be too heavy. I can always reuse my Eylure lashes multiple times because of how well made they are. Also, the common compliment that I get when wearing any Eylure lash is they make my eyes look, big, round, and doll like.

I have not tried any real mink lashes because I don't like to shop for makeup or eyelashes online because you never truly know what you are getting until you see it for yourself. Even if you see them on other people, you cant guarantee that it is going to look the same on you. These lashes are the softest lashes that I have ever felt. They are also not plastic looking while wearing, and none of the original Eylure lashes are either.

There are 3 different styles in this collection. I only picked up 2 because I wasn't attracted to the other set.

Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting

Pictured: Shade Candlelight
Not rubbed in/Rubbed in

Liquid highlighter from the Gods!!!! This is probably hands down the best liquid highlighter I have ever used. The main problem that I have with liquid highlighters is that they are wayyyyy too creamy. That concept sounds good at first but then after it sets into the foundation, majority of the time you are left with broken up foundation (which is not a cute look). Definitely a light glow to build-able beams. This is described as a primer and/or a foundation primer. Honestly, as someone with dry skin, using this as a primer felt awful on my skin. I used one pump of it to cover my face and it just felt uncomfortably dry and gritty. I have heard of people with oily skin really loving this as a primer because it gives them a chance to have beaming skin but also controlling the oils. Throughout the day I feel as if my skin just gets even more dewy without looking sweaty and greasy. All in all, just get the dang thing. Live it, love it, and thank me for your new obsession.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream

Pictured: shade Tan

This beauty right here is my holy grail foundation. I have been using this foundation religiously for years now.

Let me give you a back story on my skin. I have very dry skin with minimal acne. But I do have rosacea very prominent on my cheeks. I actually saw this for the fist time on QVC when the lovely Jamie Marie Kern removed her makeup on camera to show her rosacea. It was insane! I could not believe that this CC cream could have that much coverage and not make her skin look ashy, which is what I find most conventional foundations to do to people with rosacea.

I would say that this is a medium to build-able foundation. Now the reason I keep calling it a foundation and not a CC cream is because coverage wise, it has the coverage of a normal foundation only with the CC cream benefits. 9 out of 10 times I do not use a primer with this foundation, I also do not set it with a powder and find the finish to look absolutely beautiful that way. To cover my entire face I only use one pump and I'm left with just a tiny bit. Preferably I apply this with a damp beauty blender. You get some serious dew while wearing this. I get the most compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation.

This is a full coverage, color correcting, anti-aging, broad spectrum SPF 50 all in one. IT (hehe) doesn't get much better than that.
